In California an 18-year old Indian girl named Eesha Khare invented a new device which can allow any mobile phone to charge its battery in 20 seconds. Intel Foundation awarded her with “Young Scientist Award” after this successful invention and also she has been given the prize money of $50,000.
Basically she introduced a super capacitor which has the capacity to store a lot of energy in a small capacity, its charges instantly and hold its energy for a long time. With her revolutionary invention she attracted the attention of technology master Google as well.
Ms. Khare when asked which thing inspired her for this invention then she replied that her cell phone battery always dies and that was the main reason behind this invention.
Super-capacitor has been tested on an LED till yet but it has great chances that it can be used for cell phone batteries and other electronic devices. The best thing is that it is flexible and can be fitted in any device by rolling it and it has thousands of usage and advantages in this modern world.
